• Mr. Ratnadeep Samanta, doctoral student's colored SEM image has been awarded 3rd prize in color artistic microscopy categpry, International Metallographic Contest, ASM International 2023. 

• Mr. Ratnadeep Samanta, doctoral student has been awarded best poster award in Ph.D. research showcase conducted by IITGN 2023 in Materials Engineering Department.

2022

• Mr. Ratnadeep Samanta, first Ph.D. student of FML wins prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) for Dec 2021. He will receive the funding from Ministry of Education, Government of India for the period of 2022-2026. It is a well deserved success and FML wishes him hearty congratulations! 

• Dr. Srinadh Mattaparthi's AWSAR story has been shortlisted to the final round among 1779 stories across India within 2020-2022 period.

• Mr. Smit Patel (B.Tech student) was awarded the 2nd prize among 143 entries in the International Sci Art Competition held by INYAS 2021. This work is co-authored by Dr. Srinadh Mattaparthi and Prof. Sriharitha Rowthu. INYAS award link and fb award link
